The Origins of Angie’s Copywriting…
So how did all this get started anyway? Well, if you’re thinking that it’s impossible to just wake up one day and decide to be a writer, you’re only partly right. You see, I wasn’t always a copywriter.
I was originally trained as a classical musician, but after having a family and undergoing several life changes, I needed a change myself. I was bored.
Yep. I had the urge to do something and nothing I had to do at the time would fill the void. Now, it wasn’t that I was lacking activities to fill my time. I missed the thrill of investigation, learning, and writing that I had enjoyed earlier in life. So, with lots of time on my hands, I decided that it was time to jump in and start doing what I really loved. I wanted to get a little creative.
In no time at all, I found a venue for my work, and quickly discovered that there was a market for my talents. So, I put my curiosity and hunger for learning to good use and started to delve into the world of business copywriting.
I found that my passion for writing and helping others along the path to success only increased my abilities. And, before I knew it, I was providing premium online and offline content for a full range of industries, organizations and businesses.

When I’m not working for the clients of Angie’s Copywriting, I’m a contributing author and guest poster on several leading SEO blogs, freelance writing sites, and other industry websites. I’m also working on two books (one fiction, one non-fiction), am an active member in several small business and SEO forums, and publish works in various magazines and newspapers. Yep, I’m never bored. I’ve always got something exciting on the go and love taking on new adventures.
When I’m not writing, I’m a wife and mother to one very energetic little boy who has as much love for discovery and learning as his mother. This means when we spend time together,we’re investigating something new or spending time outdoors. I still put my 17 years of being an oboist to good use by performing, teaching, and working on the local music committee. Spare time? When I’ve got it, I fill it up with painting, drawing, and general creative craftiness.
